One of the most powerful design concepts wether it be for interiors, packaging, graphic design, fashion or photography has to be monochrome. Black and white are two of the most emotive visuals in nature. The dark authority of black contrasts to the purity and innocence of white. Visually it is impossible to ignore. A splash of colour adds a sense of playfulness and warmth.
Four of our new designs all fit within this story. Monte Giove has a contemporary minimalistic feel and the icon on the label reflects the Italian mountain 'Monte Giove' and the Roman chief deity 'Giove' which translates as 'Jupiter'. Our design for Andantino references its meaning of tempo in a clock using classic Roman numerals. Each varietal shows a different time on the clock face.
Another Italian, BotteBuona has a strong shelf stand out with high quality print finishes accentuating the quality factor of the brand. Whilst Australian McBain's features a raised varnish finish for high on shelf impact, the design reflects the heritage of the wine's origins.
Now, for the studio interiors, monochrome with a splash of Chianti?
