Brazil, the BD studio feels for you. We know full fact that you would have won if the competition had taken into account the work of artist George Zisiadis; “Food, like football, transcends nationality but is particular to each country. Food connects all humans, but has its own particular varieties, tied up in the identity of the country”. Zisiadis’s photographic project follows the native World Cup team foods and mixes them up – thank goodness France were knocked out early on, so the Crepewurst didn’t become a reality.

 So for the final, will it be the Wafflewurst, the Wurstempanada or the Wafflemapanada.  We will miss the Acaraj, those black eyed pea and shrimp fritters from Brazil look delicious, especially with a glass of sparkling Salton Evidence.

Brazil, there will be a next time.
